Things to do in Fatsa

If you feel like leaving the bungalow, there is plenty nearby: a castle on the shore, a lake in the forest, hot springs and capes along the coast road to Ordu.

  1. Fatsa seafront

    1 km from the bungalows

The nearest stretch of sea to the bungalows. Close enough for a morning walk or an early-evening tea without getting in the car.

  2. Bolaman Castle and Hazinedaroğlu Mansion

    about 9 km

East of Fatsa, on a rock at the water’s edge. The lower part is an old cut-stone castle; the wooden Hazinedaroğlu Mansion was added on top in the 19th century. Stop for pide in Bolaman on the way back.

  3. Lake Gaga

    about 10 km

A small lake formed by a landslide and ringed by pine forest. It is a protected natural site with a walking path and picnic spots, and a good place for birdwatching.

  4. Sarmaşık hot springs

    about 10 minutes by car

Hot springs close to Fatsa town centre, where locals go for the healing waters. A good option on a cool day.

  5. Cape Yason

A cape reaching into the sea in Perşembe, between Fatsa and Ordu. At its tip are a 19th-century stone church and a lighthouse; the sandy beach at nearby Çaka gets busy in summer.

  6. Ordu and Boztepe

    about 40 km

In Ordu you can take the cable car up to Boztepe and look down over the city and the sea. On the way along the coast road you can stop at Perşembe and Cape Yason.

After a day out, come back to your own pool
